Life can be very strange some times, I have just been and met Dame Vera Lynn as she is featured in this new Missing Charts book we are publishing this November. With her having achieved six number one records it seemed appropriate to go and ask her thoughts and her memories of the Tin Pan Alley days – then it was proposed that we went and filmed Ronnie Wood playing the Jimmy Reed songbook that same evening – quite surreal. And now can you help find someone who is probably younger than Vera – the Fifties session guitarist Ernie Shear who played on ‘Move It’ – we would really like to find him and get his story too.
