Another great interview yesterday with Nick Simper, now there is a man who has been a musician all his life working with greats like Johnny Kidd and entertainers like Screaming Lord Sutch before starting a small musical departure from the norm called Deep Purple with Jon Lord and Ritchie Blackmore. Then he moved on to forming Vertigo signing Warhorse from the ashes of the Marsha Hunt backing band. He is still out there and gigging today with the Good Old Boys – I mean, what else is a man supposed to do?
